Mike in Miami

So what happened ? I though Mike Bibby had been trade to the Wizards ... Ok, we can understand that cohabitation should have been difficult between Bibby and John Wall. But I although though that the trade deadline was over ??? But whatever ...

So, after playing one game in DC, Bibby is going back in the south, in the very south a this time, in vice city, joining the James-Wade-Bosh team.

But seriously, this is, for me, a damm good thing for the Heat, cause Bibby is the kind of guard that can lead the orchestra, he got more skills than Arroyo (it's sad for Arroyo), and he got a big experience of the playoff, he was part of the Sacramento Kings that could handle with the Lakers at the beginning of the last decade, so it's a good move for the Heat. The East has surpassed the West after the last trade deadline, so there is a few team that Miami can fear, even in the first round.

Just hope that the Knicks will fight them and beat them just like en '99, that would be great.

We'll see ...

Who's the best dunker in the NBA ?

First I got to say I'm a big fan of JR Smith.

So I'm gonna say that JR Smith is the best dunker right now in the NBA, he is not that tall, he's quick, he jumps high and he's creative, he's the most impressive right now. With Melo gone, we can hope that he's gonna take a nigger role in Denver, cause he got everything to be the team leader.

Have you seen that dunk (picture) ? He was like flying, must be the best dunk this season, looks like Kobe before, or Jordan.

In second position I would go for D-Rose, cause he's small and he dunks better than every other guard, Gordon and Westbrook are good, buuut, Rose is a way better. You got to remember that dunk last season in january or february, a two hands dunk, he jumped and stayed in the air like 3s or something, that was the best dunk of the last season. Impressive !

And then you will tel me "but what about Blake Griffin, you crazy man, he's the has been dunkin 147 times or something this season !"

Ok, let's talk about that guy, he's good, he's a good player, no problem about it. BUT he's tall (but he jumps high), and what is he doing most of the time, alley hoops, two hands jams ... dunking hard, heavy, that's it ?!? But he's good, that's right, and this year's draft isn't that brilliant, so they got to enhance that, so they talk about Griffin (drafted last season, .... ok I give up that one), I think they are making too much noise around that guy, too much "marketing", you wanna see dunkers, you want to see who was impressive, someone who deserves all that attention that got Griffin this year, watch Vince Carter's videos on his two or three first seasons, and you gonna see the difference, Griffin is a human being, Carter was from another planet.

That's IT.

I'm not forgetting Nate or Howard ...

Kobe MVP once again !

It was a week ago, and that was great to watch Kobe once again win an MVP title in an All star game, his last one in LA, and may be his last one playing like this.

We got to enjoy those kind of moments, I mean he's 32 and will turn 33 in august, so what do we got, 3 or 4 years left to watch him playing ... And we know that he's not the same as he was a couple of years ago, he's getting old and it seems like abnormal for that great player. We all have known him young and were expecting him not to get old, but that happened and we can do nothing about that, but whatever he is still great, and that's what a lot of players or trying to do, staying on top and getting old - not everybody is able to do so (VC, T-Mac, even AI ...) - but Kobe is still here.

Yeahhh man, last sunday I was like ten years ago, the difference that I appreciated whatching him play, I was like "GO man, you got to get that record" (Chamberlain's points record), that didn't happened, but whatever Kobe was dunking reverse, enjoying, playing like he was 22, forgetting the Lakers loss in Ohio ...

That was a good moment, a good game, both side were fighting, I ain't got regrets staying up untill 5am to watch that game (from France). I hope we gonna see that kind of Kobe during the playoffs.
